Directions:
Cross old bridge and veer left uphill to church (ideal for a rest, pleasant views.) There is a fountain with safe drinking water behind church. Continue in front of church, veering right. At road fork, turn right and join main road 50m later (opposite the Ega Pan bread and cake factory). Turn left  (2 bars 30m to right next to car wash), and 20m later cross over main road. Go up lane at right hand side of first house to left of bread factory. Veer left and go uphill under electric cables.

Follow this path uphill past farm building and fields. As it starts to descend, turn right along a footpath on an embankment above an olive plantation (partial view of Estella ahead). Keep straight, veering left all the time, round and above fields. On level with allotments, the footpath becomes a green line. Go straight downhill, surface becomes concrete, winding its way up and down alongside high wall/embankment  (welcome seat to right at top of hill by junction). This descends to join minor road. Enter Estella on main road at bend in river Ega. (Right). Turn left up road marked to “Servicio Provincial de Incendios” ( fire station)]
